Details

This is a pre-order opportunity for pony hoods that I will personally produce, based on the original design by Garuda Workshop. Your pre-order helps fund a state-of-the-art 3D printer that can reduce production time from 4 weeks to just 8 hours and offer up to three color customization options. 

The pre-order price is 10% - 100% EUR, and you’ll receive a proforma invoice confirming shipment within one year from the invoice date, or earlier. 

This agreement is legally binding, and if any delays extend beyond a year, you will receive a full refund. You can also request a refund at any time, for any reason, no questions asked.

When your hood is ready, the remaining amount, plus shipping costs will be due; shipping fees will be calculated at that time, as predicting them in advance is difficult.

Why this hood?

  • Price

    I am targeting with this new machine much lower cost of making the hoods (or even hooves) and therefor price of the hoods can be pretty low.
    I think ponyplay gear should be available to anyone who wants to be a pony, and this is way to get it cheaply, with amazing quality.

  • Easy to clean, hard to damage

    The hood's synthetic rubber hood part, or latex hood part, will be from thick 0.8mm latex or synthetic rubber, which will protect the hood. TPE hood itself, will not lose color by scratching, and should not shatter or damage in any way.
    TPE is very chemically stable, and human sweat, or water, or even so acids, do not matter to it.
    Just grab water, and clean it with hose.

  • Style

    3D printing with multiple toolheads means, you can for free, create any color style you will want, and which will represent you, as a pony.
    I think there is enough of black only hoods, I think more colorful ponies, with spots, unique colors, can shine very easily.

    I will have pre-prepared styles as well, and you will be soon be able online to choose from them, and their colors.

About preorder

  • Why the preorder?

    Initial cost of the printer, is very large, but I believe with 20 ponies, the printer is manageable to build quickly and be calibrated.

    It will help me progress technologically, cheapen out the hooves, and allow new ponyplay gear to be made.

    Without your help, this journey can take up to three years, and will cost a lot more.

  • What guaranties do I have?

    My company, is resident of Czech Republic, in European Union. In proforma invoice, as well on the order, there will be stated date, by which I must deliver the product, or otherwise return the money.

    I am bound by law, and I can be prosecuted, if I do not comply with this rules.

    You have all customer protection EU offers, and more.

  • Can I change my mind?

    Yes, at any point, you can cancel your order, money will be in few days, back on your payment method. In some cases, manual refund will be needed, and you will be contacted for info, how to return the money, but you will get your whole amount back. I do not want reason, you changed your mind, you get your money back.

About the 3D printer

  • Pellet printing

    Pellet printing allows much cheaper and faster 3D printing of TPU and TPE, and now the technology is available for small companies and hobby uses, as patents expired. The toolhead above is Greenboy3D pellet toolhead, specialized for TPU/TPE as well.

  • Toolchanger

    The toolchanger allows quickly changing materials while printing. It was never done with pellet extruders, but it should allow 3 colors + 1 support material.
    4 toolheads is the plan.
    Toolchanger will allow unique designs for anypony, from zebras, to own stripes, anything.

  • Size and Gantry

    Vorons, which this printed will be based on, custom sized Voron 2.4 R2, have flying gantry. Which means, they can rotate the whole toolhead, to be flat against bed.
    I will go with AWD - Which means 4 steppers against normal 2 steppers for A/B (Which is Delta X and Delta Y motions in CoreXY)

    This is required as toolhead with pellets will be much heavier than standard toolhead.

    The printer itself will have atypical size, to accommodate all these changes, but print bed will be around 350mm x 350mm.

Print bed of 540x540x740, allowing full masks to be printed at once.
Four toolheads in toolchanger, allowing to have 4 colors in one print (One material must be used as support).

Very energy effective and using Pellets to print up to 20A shore hardness (Latex is 35-45A) with very fast speeds.
